The purpose of this page is to make available
information that will support your family history and genealogy
research by providing convenient access to online resources, including
training.
Online Training
A search of the Internet reveals that there are numerous
training
opportunities available for budding genealogists, whether you aspire to
be an amateur or a professional. An excellent yet often untapped
resource, is the free training available on the "Learning Center"
page at FamilySearch.org.
There are currently 85 online lessons and courses
dealing with the United Kingdom and nine dealing with Ireland. Lessons
are normally supported by an instructional video, student handout and
teacher resource. So, take a moment right now to look at the variety of
learning resources available to you at the Learning Center by selecting
